Chris talked rather a lot so I've pruned down his remarks a bit. He did some interesting things with his slide playing, he was by far the oldest performer here, and is still delivering the goods.
This lineup was far superior to the backing band we saw earlier on in the year. Shane Gilbert is an excellent lead player.

The format was three 20 minute sets for the support artistes, Mcnamarr Project, Stefan Hauk, Chris Finnen and Geoff Achison, then Anna Popovic did a 50 minute set, followed by the jam session at the end.
Audience was generally very quiet, ( although they could have been more appreciative ) and the PA and mix were , (as usual at the gov), excellent.
