Chris is a legend in South Australian blues circles , but I haven't been to see him for years, and this has been a mistake, as this set reminded me of just how great a blues guitarist he is, and , when he avoids his more theatrical vocals� just how good he is all round. Check out the track Troublemaking Woman to see what i mean, a fantastic performance !
Anyway he delivered in spades during this set on ALL fronts .
Audience were in the main very quiet and the PA was excellent.
This is a partial set as i arrived late after being ambushed by several pints of Hobgoblin Red at the bistro next door. The first 30 seconds or so are lower quality as i had to get past the door and the bar before I snagged a good position just in front of the soundboard.
