This was the first show of Chris's usual two night stint at this venue. Great performance all round. It was really fantastic to hear old favourites "I Can Hear Your Heartbeat", "Stainsby Girls" and "Fool" included in the setlist again after an absence of many years. We have had a few recordings from the 2008 Hofner Bluenotes tour recently so I thought it would be a pleasant contrast to share my recording from Chris's so called "Farewell Tour". I am so pleased that he did not call it a day after that tour. Let us all wish him the best of health for the future.
