This show initially sounded like Alvin and the Chipmunks covering Deep Purple.
It took quite a bit of work to get things back in the ballpark speed/pitch wise.
I was actually about to bail on this one but Michael/Lucifer Burns encouraged me to keep at it.
Hopefully, folks here will think it was worth the effort.
Maybe not “perfect” but miles better than what it was.
The first and only UK tour by the MK III band.
This tour is well represented by both official as well as unofficial recordings.
Recordings circulate for the April 19th Edinburgh show, the May 6th Sheffield show, the Lewisham show on May 12th, and Manchester on May 15th in addition to this one.
The Kilburn show on May 22nd was recorded by the BBC and officially released.
This Hammersmith show also circulates on the 2 CD boot “Hammersmith 74” (incorrectly dated as September 5th, 1974) but this offering was not sourced from that.
