Comments: Early date on the Dirty Knobs' American tour supporting their fourth album "Mission of Mercy." Solid two-hour performance featuring a lot of songs from the new album that the audience hadn't yet heard; however, the performance really won over the crowd despite their unfamiliarity with much of the music.

The sound is very good overall. I was DFC in the front of the balcony, so the mix was good and there was very little crowd interference around me. I raised the high end a bit because I always find the treble on the DPAs to be a little lacking; otherwise I didn't do anything to the recording.

Mike Campbell sounds so much like Tom Petty that it makes me wonder who the creative force of the Heartbreakers actually was. Fun show.
