A member of our community, cnokes, contacted me & asked
me if I would upload several fine-quality ELP concerts of his
and I replied "Of course !". Here is his third offering. I think
it sounds better than an 8/10, but I'm following his wishes as
far as grading is concerned. My contributions toward this
upload were ripping the tracks from master CDs which he sent me,
converting wav files to flac files and creating and upping the torrent ;
I also did a tiny amount of editing on tracks 12 & 16. I DID NO
SOUND ENHANCEMENT, EQ'ing, etc TO THIS SHOW. If you have
any issues with those items, please contact cnokes, not me.
I have listened to some of this & personally I think it sounds more
like an 8.5-9.5/10 than an 8/10, but we'll leave that there. A round
of applause and hearty thanks go out to cnokes for generously sharing
his recordings with the community here ; there's more to come. He's a
great guy who wants to offer up some new stuff to the wonderful people
who've given all of us so much already. Thank you, cnokes !
Finally, the usual ; no buy, no sell, no mp3. Please seed as long
as you can & share freely. This is a fine show which I'm certain
will be enjoyed by all ELP fans everywhere. The info above is the only
info I have. Any detailed questions should be posted on the torrent to
cnokes. I posted no audio sample as this show is as good or better than
the first 2 cnokes shows I posted earlier.
A brief caveat about the upload:
I was recently forced (by the software) to download the brand-new version
of Bit Torrent and it's been behaving a bit strangely. I now am sometimes
getting a message on Dime that shows me as firewalled & tells me that either
I have a misconfigured router or a misdirected Torrent client or some such
bullshit. I have NO clue as to WTF they're talking about !! I have NEVER been
and am NOT firewalled, but when the message DOES appear, it makes d/ling
& uploading more difficult. I can make the message disappear by turning off
my computer, waiting ~ 1 hour, turning it back on & then checking my personal
description on Dime. The message ALWAYS goes away. If it ever does NOT go away,
I will be truly fucked. Boy, I LOVE technology when it's fucked up & it's not
even your fault !!! IF I do vanish from the seeder area on the torrent for a
while, you guys will know what happened ; DON'T CRY, DON'T GET MAD, DON'T COME
LOOKING FOR ME, DON'T FREAK OUT. I will return & everyone who wants this show
will get it. If something truly bizarre happens & I'm unable to continue upping
this, I will post a message to that effect. End of caveat.
This is a very clear show w/ well-defined vocals & instruments.
You'll love it, trust me. Enjoy the show !
