I was quite dissapointed with the outcome of this recording and was reluctant if I should bring it over to dime.
The concertgebouw is known for it's excellent sound, for classical music and maybe that's the problem. Electified music is a whole different story The speakers were way up high in the room and there were no stage speakers to accomadate the first ten rows where I was sitting.
I tried to fix the problem with some EQ to bring Emmylou's voice more up front, with the result that the recording sounds a little "thin" and "hollow"
The lack of Emmylou recording from this tour was a factor to bring this one to you.

It was a fabulous show though, the band was more 'on' than in Rotterdam, but there was more story and emotion. I guess the last show of a tour has it's dynamics in the band. Remarkable that after the encore the crowd went nuts and kept applauding, but no 2nd encore.
