Petriz comments:
Since the great 2003 tour of Japan with many rare songs not played again for several years or even decades uploaded by DeathGlider is still up on DIME,
I am moving to the 2004 tour, the first one with Doyle Bramhall II as a member of the touring band. Hard to believe it has been 20 years already. I am not a big fan of the Me And Mr. Johnson album,
and the same goes for the tour, overall, but there are some great shows and rare songs on it, that make shows from 2004 worthwile, even if you are not a completist.
The highlights here are Let It Rain back in the set after nearly two decades, a great slow blues version of Kind hearted woman blues - I personally prefer it very much over another Johnson number that would
(unfortunately, in my opinion) become the slow blues of choice from 2006 onwards - Little Queen Of Spades - and we also get Got To Get Better In A Little While, which has not been played live by Clapton
since 1970! Of course, it has since become one of the mainstays of the set.
Thanks to LEFFE for the recording and Erathostne for the original upload.
Old checksums included.
Enjoy.
