There is some confusion about the date of this performance. The DAT was clearly marked "3/13" but etreedb has a popular show at the Mercury Lounge on 3/17, and the old galacticfunk.com site has nothing on either date.

This was during the week of SXSW in Austin. The Austin American Statesman noted that Galactic, Citizen Lane, Big Ass Truck and SCI "teamed up" at the Mercury Lounge, but didn't provide exact dates except on a grid of SXSW performances, which showed Galactic playing an "unauthorized pirate show" at the Mercury Lounge on 3/12 (midnight) and 3/13 (midnight). There's nothing for the 17th.

On the other hand, Houseman clearly says "Big Ass Truck is next" at the end of the show. Big Ass Truck opened at 8:00 p.m. for Citizen Lane and then String Cheese on Friday the 14th and probably the 15th, too. Etreedb.org also shows String Cheese playing at the Mercury Lounge every night from the 12th through the 15th, although only the 14th and 15th show any collectors, so it's likely that SCI played only those two nights. Did Galactic open for Big Ass Truck at, say, 6:00 p.m.? Hard to say. Big Ass Truck was at the Mercury Lounge again on 9/19, though.

Because the 17th was a Monday, which is the least likely date for a performance, and there's nothing else to suggest the 17th is correct, this has been left as dated on the 13th.

Enjoy!
