Thanks to our anonymous taper and to Mark for facilitating.
The first of two back to back performances at Great Woods, this one to a half-full venue. The show runs 2 and a quarter hours. The four accompanying newspaper articles agreed that the performance started slowly and was marred by lackluster sound for a few songs; also that David Lindley was terrific. They disagree about most everything else.
The beginning of the first song is missing, but all tape flips were clean and the extra crowd noise before the encore has been removed. 300 ms of microphone mayhem in Enough of the Night resolved by copying one channel over the other, and a small dropout in The Load Out has been smoothed over. Ozone 12 helped to balance out the changes in sound as the show progressed.
Enjoy!
