Dutch Masters Archives series
New to Dime
This serie is about old tapes, recorded between approx. 1995-2005, transferred from DAT tape to digital files. As the transfers were not done on the device of recording, some transfers suffered from drop outs.
I did my best to preserve the original recording but sometimes I had to find ways to make it listenable, and sometimes skipping songs that could not be saved. All will be noted
Recorded on Sony DAT D7 (row 7 in the middle), playback on Pioneer D-05, via Hucht data copy processor Mk II to Tascam DA-3000 > Flac > Decoded to Wav with TLH.
Editing with Adobe Audition & Audacity. Flaced with TLH to level 8.
2026 Mastering, volume adjustments and parametric equalizing to handle the (ENORMOUS) bass sound.
The first two songs have a 'squicky' sound in the background, I guess it's coming through the soundboard. I couldn't get that out.
