Jaye Jayle is the solo project of Evan Patterson, also of Old Baby (with which Jaye Jayle shares most of its members) and Young Widows and a bunch of other bands along the spectrum of gothic blues-folk-Americana. Here Patterson and his bandmates opened for Louisville neighbors Freakwater, one or two of whom (I can no longer recall, and the audio evidence is inconclusive) joined in on his final song. If you're not familiar and curious, check out samples at https://jayejayle.bandcamp.com/ or just download this live set and hear for yourself.
