Notes:
This is a previously uncirculated live stereo broadcast to promote the then new Light Shine LP and his gig at The Red Creek Inn the following night. There are minor transmission issues, mixing adjustments and some slight intermittent distortion inherent to the broadcast, but is relatively clean and sounds quite nice overall. There is also an audible hum between songs, presumably amplified by the radio station's compression settings, that is not audible during songs. This is a sweet performance all around, with a great setlist, including a few Youngbloods songs, and the best band he ever had during his solo years.
Thank you to John Pape for recording this master reel 54 years ago! Thank you to Doug Rice for rescuing it and meticulously transferring it 54 years later!
These files have been dithered to 16/44.1 for convenient CD burning. Files in the original 24/48 transfer are also available.
If you're into Jesse Colin Young, you will no doubt love this. Alan Bershaw
