Maybe it occurred for every performance of the song,
but this is the first time that I ever noticed the backing tapes during "Velvet Green".
Ian singing with himself is obvious during SFTW but how could I have listened to
these live recordings for decades and never notice them in Velvet Green before?

THE LINEAGE:
audience > unknown generations of cassettes > azimuth adjusted on Nakamichi BX-2 cassette deck > digitize with Audacity > FLAC with xAct > you
An almost raw transfer.
The volume was all over the place.
Tape 1 side A had the left channel much louder than the right.
Tape 1 side B was just the reverse.
Tape 2 was much louder than tape 1.
I did my best to equalize the volumes.
It may not be perfect, but it is much more balanced than it was.
No EQ or "enhancement" or "improvement" has been done
to alter the sound of this recording.
If anybody wants to attempt a remastering, please go right ahead.

THE SOUND:
As I said this tape has breaks between some of the songs (and a few silences during songs (flute solo, etc., which I removed)
If there was enough applause I did a fade out. If the break happened quickly, well, there's just an abrupt cut to the next song. It's not too horrible. You get used to it when it happens.
Here is yet another "GMR" - a glorious monophonic recording.
Maybe I'm just simple, but I like mono.
When you're in an audience, unless there are speakers behind you it all comes from basically one spot in front of you, and honey, that's mono.
Overall, not bad at all.
It is an enjoyable listenable.

I offer what I have, with ALL the information known to me.
If you've got a better version, seed it.
If you have more accurate information, please add it in a comment.
If anyone would like to attempt a remastering job, go right ahead.
