SQ: 8-8.5/10, vg to vg+ IMHO as always.

If I speculate correctly, this concert was ~ 100 min. long,
which means that this tape represents ~ 93% of the complete
show. Percentage could be higher. I need a show attendee to
tell me how long the last 2 songs were...

This recording is missing part of Black Sunday and all of
Cheerio (which should have been the last song). I surely do
wish that a complete source of this show could be located ;
I need it now, Jim. Bones, you can't have it now. Damn it,
Jim, I need it NOW. NOW, Jim, NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did not attend or tape this show so this will be relatively
short and sweet. I acquired this tape over 15 years ago ; I
bought it at a record show in either Milwaukee or Chicago from
a guy who dealt in audio & video tapes. I paid no more than $10
US. The only verification of the identity of this tape is what
is printed on the J-card. Pretty sketchy, I know. I've listened
to this tape on phones very attentively and stone-cold sober. The
audio quality is not bad but it's not the best. At times there
is a slight warble and very mild hiss. Ian's vocals are very clear
as is the instrumentation. This sounds like it was recorded on a
cheap deck but close to the stage. What bothers me a bit is that
nowhere on this recording is the city of Pittsburgh, PA or the
venue mentioned. I guess there is a chance that this show is from
another city but I'll just go with what is given to me on the J-card.
You'll hear an effeminate-sounding guy shouting out comments like
"Love it !" and "Incredible !" every so often. If this aids the
listener in accurately identifying the city and venue of this
recording, so much the better. It's an OK tape of an energetic
show. If you have a better-sounding complete version of this concert,
PLEASE upload it by all means. Well, that's all that I have so let's
get this show on the road......

Finally, no buy, no sell, no mp3. Please seed this as long as you can.
I will post several samples shortly for those of you still undecided
but I think you'll find that this is a fairly good-sounding tape and
a welcome addition to any Jethro Tull fan's collection. Well, thanks
for reading this and Mr. Natural would like to add these few comments:
have fun, don't freak out and by all means, enjoy the concert!!!
