I'd been all set to share a truncated version of this that came to me in a share here from Joerg in 2009. In looking that up in the dimebot archive, it showed that both lolly2de and jazzrita had shared longer version of this show that same year. jazzrita's share seemed to be complete, in fact. That was reseeded by petercherman in 2011 according to the archive, and hasn't run since then. The copy I had on hand was slightly more than half the length of what jazzrita had once shared.
I reached out to jazzrita (Jakob), and he generously sent his files over to me so they could now run again instead of that shorter version I'd first intended to share. It's a great sounding show, and it's actually quite interesting to hear Abercrombie play some of this material that also features in a few recent shares running here from contemporaneous gigs he'd done with his quartet. Abercrombie was no longer recording with his Organ Trio at this point in time, but he did continue to play live in this format for another couple of years. Check the samples below to get an idea of what you'll be receiving if you grab this show. Many thanks again to Jakob for sending this over (including the photo included in the file folder).
