::: EXC SBD quality. Check samples for fear & loathing factor or for a little joy & jingle.
::: Warts: Very slight bit o' ye olde hissss but damn solid overall. Only spotchecked for dropouts so you may find a few. Slight distortion in places from poor instrument miking but jeez, it is really fine.
::: "Ye Mariners All" missing a bit of John's spoken intro due to a tape flip.
::: "Praise To The Moon" could be missing part of the end due to a tape flip, but I wasn't sure.

CoolSonics 205 ::: Thanks to the original taper & trader! I do believe my source ia also a DIMER ::: Corrections welcome ::: So many incarnations of John Renbourn over the years. Funny to think I saw Steve Tilston in these days, long before I'd heard the magnificent first album by the gentleman, which became one of my most-oft played folk records ever, "An Acoustic Confusion". If you don't know it, seek it out. I do like that we get so many different songs with John playing on them, though the repetition between the early & late shows seems completely unnecessary. Over the years he certainly settled into his repertoire a little too much. Of course he loved this scene, two other lead vocalists to carry things so he could focus on his playing as was ever his wont. And, what a rippin' good guy and one of the most fascinating acoustic guitarists on the planet, and a one-time Deadhead to boot. Enjoy!

More recordings on the way, making up for years of slow netspeed. Kudos to Zongo for life support, Lochner for mikes & much more, & to Fast Freddie for runnin' Video Dick's Record Emporium with the bathroom office full of tape decks. Thanks to Hanwaker (few among us can keep his pace) for over 30 years of trading & friendship. Mountains of gratitude to Davmar, D.White, Sanchez, Elliot, The Florida Kid, Kloiber, Zingg, JTW, Bershaw, Boston Gold, Weeks, Dixon, Moore, Gough & SO many more for all that collecting & sharing... Royal thanks to The Man In The Palace, Doc Tinker, Brinkhoffs, Barely Eatin', Reel Master Gaule, Parrish & all the traders who housed me thru my music acquisition & travel years. Hats off to Brother Kent, Uncle Jake, Little Queenie (& her neighbor Frank) & his honor Ptomaine Thomas. Glasses raised to Byron for musical horizon expansion & much obliged to J & Thurston for keepin' my concert fires burnin' since my continental shift. Thanks to the Mods for keepin' DIME alive. Enjoy, share, give, spread peace. Yers truly, Knees
