The timing (Monday night 21.30 )combined with the bitter cold temperatures were not ideal for a large attendance, but a mere
19 people was very sad and undeserved. Fortunately his show at In The Woods earlier during this tour, a show I also was present at,
but did not record as Songhunter always does an excelent job (stil hoping this show appears), was well attended.

Downstairs in the large hall Todd Rundgren was playing for a large audience. Jon Dee refers to that a few times and adds that after
the show he and Todd will be partying. Rumour has it that earlier during the day JOn Dee and Todd's crew had a fight
(true or not I don't know), which puts his remarks about Todd in perspective.
Anyway it didn't stop Jon Dee from giving himself 100%.

The show did not start as planned. At the end of the first song Jon Dee broke his D-string. Not having a spare D-string
proved to be a challenge. While Erik replaced the broken string, Jon Dee played Volver unplugged, seated on
the edge of the stage. Because I was plugged into the soundboard it was not recorded. The show continued, Erik remarked the string wouldn't last three
songs, which proved to be correct. During October it broke again. Erik and George jammed a bit while Jon Dee replaced the string.

This and the late start (the show started 30 minutes late) was the reason the usual game of walking off stage, the audience
shouting for an encore was not performed. Jon Dee did the encore song unplugged in the audience.
I quickly unplugged from the soundboard and used the Edirol's internal mics to capture it.

The bar was closed, so no long talks after the show. Jon Dee and some people went out to spend the night in town. The Paradiso
is surrounded by bars, so I have a good idea how the night continued. I had to get up early next day for work, so I went home.
