Dime member "kenzok2002" and I are pleased to kick off a series of Kinks captures coming from a long time Kinks collector spanning the touring years 1972 to the 1997 solo years.

The long time Kinks collector simply announced on a Kinks webpage that he had a large collection to pass along, "kenzok2002" responded first and shortly after received a large box of ~150 shows. Some are well known and don't need to be released others may be upgrades and quite a few appear to have not previously appeared in the torrent era.

The lineage appear to be unknown but we will do our best not to pollute the collector's pool and release those shows that are not circulated or at least not well circulated in the torrent era, clear upgrades and alternate captures.

"knezok2002" has spent the last 15 months digitizing the collection and recently put them in my hands for mastering and release.

We hope for those that already have the shows we release maybe there is an upgrade or two and for others it closes some gaps in your Kinks collection.

Our first release is a solid "Misfits" show at the legendary "The Warehouse" in New Orleans. The taper was positioned away from the audience (or the response is not very enthusiastic) as there is very little to no audience noise included claps. The few yells and whistles have been removed...quality is well worth your download time...samples provided.

Thanks to our benefactor, the long time collector, to kenzok2002 for acquiring the collection and Goody who once again steps up to the plate and knocks the pitch out of the park.
