Led Zeppelin - 1971-11-13 - Caird Hall, Dundee, Scotland
Audience recording - weedwacker DAT transfer (15 tracks, approximately 89:48)

REPOST / CONTRAST CLAUSE
This is a historical repost of the weedwacker DAT transfer, not a new tape source
and not a newly mastered recording. DIME #349770 (uploaded 2011-03-20,
removed 2012-07-19 for inactivity) appears to document this same transfer:
identical original lineage note, track list and stated duration. Historical
FLAC fingerprints for #349770 are not available in the archived BOT text, so
sample-identical provenance to that torrent cannot be proven here.

Earlier DIME #107622 (2006) and #184683 (2008) were derived from the
commercially released Led Note "The Road And The Miles To Dundee" discs
(silvers / CD-R > EAC > FLAC), rather than this separately documented
DAT-to-WAV transfer. #142834 (2007) was a Led Note-sourced torrent banned
as a duplicate of #107622, not a ban of the weedwacker transfer.

Searches of DIME's active torrents for Dundee and Led Zeppelin +Dundee on
2026-10-28 did not find a currently available 1971-11-13 Dundee torrent.
If an active matching torrent exists at upload time, do not create a duplicate.

ARTIST / PERFORMANCE
Led Zeppelin
Caird Hall, Dundee, Scotland, United Kingdom
13 November 1971
Audience recording; historical tape source commonly associated with the
"Scots Tape". The original taper of this specific DAT lineage is not verified.

ORIGINAL SOURCE / LINEAGE (AS RECEIVED; UNVERIFIED)
Master > DAT(3) > WAV (16-bit / 44.1 kHz) > FLAC

ORIGINAL DIGITAL TRANSFER NOTES
DAT(3) > Tascam DA-20 S/PDIF out > Audiophile 192 S/PDIF in
> Audacity > WAV (16-bit / 44.1 kHz) > FLAC
Transferred by: weedwacker

The original transfer notes explicitly say that the low-generation lineage
was unverified and listed as received. In particular, "Master" is NOT a
verified assertion about the generation of the tape held by this uploader.
Weedwacker attempted to correct tape-speed problems. Problems remain,
particularly in the latter portion of the recording. No further audio
processing, speed correction, splitting or remastering was performed for
this repost. The FLAC audio files retain their existing samples and names.
