Working through TapeTyrant's master tapes for the phenomenal "Master Series" revealed an additional cache of gems. His collection not only boasts an exceptional archive of masters, but it also includes an impressive array of uncirculated first-generation recordings and soundboards.

Since these rare gems can't be incorporated into the Master Series yet deserve recognition, we've devised a companion collection. Enter the "TapeTyrant Archive Series"�a creative showcase featuring uncirculated soundboards, primarily first-generation audience captures, and unique upgrades�all curated to share the full depth of TapeTyrant's archive.

Bass Desires featured one of the most distinctive small-group sounds in 1980s jazz, this share is an excellent quality audience capture out of TapeTyrant's archives appearing to be previously uncirculated in the torrent era.

We owe TapeTyrant a big debt of gratitude for allowing me the honor of mastering and sharing his archives with all of us in what I hope are the definitive editions.
