This lineup was far superior to the backing band we saw earlier on in the year. Shane Gilbert is an excellent lead player and John is no slouch either. The band seems to be growing in stature.

The format was three 20 minute sets for the support artistes, McNaMarr Project, Stefan Hauk, Chris Finnen and Geoff Achison, then Anna Popovic did a 50 minute set, followed by the jam session at the end.
Audience was generally very quiet, ( although they could have been more appreciative ) and the PA and mix were, (as usual at the gov), excellent.
