Another Jackal Production Vol 41: Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs 2025-12-09 Palace of Fine Arts Theatre, San Francisco, CA

The Palace of Fine Arts Theatre is a great venue. It's a smallish theater that seats 1,000 and has perfect sound. Also, coming from Sacramento this is by far the easiest venue to get to in San Francisco, being just a quick left turn from the end of the first S.F. exit ramp after crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, and it has free parking! Sure beats braving the inevitable Berkeley freeway stoppage, the Bay Bridge and then diving into city traffic & the limited $$$ parking options for every other showplace in the city.

This was the 4th show of Mike's limited 5-show tour supporting his recently released memoir, Heartbreaker. Originally billed as An Acoustic Evening then changed to A Semi-Acoustic Evening, this show really rocked! Mike told lots of stories from the book and played a bunch of deep cuts spanning the whole career of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. I really enjoyed the show and hope you enjoy the recording!
