Miles Davis Septet
Vienna Town Hall, Vienna, Austria
November 03, 1973

Austrian television broadcast>1st Gen VHS?>DVD>DVD Decrypter>Besweet(Audio)>Dime

I bought this at a local shop and was amazed by the performance. The band plays a pretty aggressive set with Al Foster and Mtume keeping the beat really fast in that chaotic style that the sextet was known for. Miles has the wah pedal going and does keyboard on the slower parts. The bass was going through some distortion pedal a couple times. I switched the audio to mono in TMPGEnc DVD Author because the copy I bought could only be heard in the left channel. Video quality on this is 9/10 with very little visible compression from the tape transfer. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did, as there is no official footage and very little bootleg footage from this era (1972-1974).
