Another nice find from the same anonymous collector that gave us the recent Elvis Costello SB's.
This is an excellent audience capture of the Neville Brothers The Neville Brothers in 1984 were still very much a cult live act rather than the Grammy-winning band they would become after Yellow Moon in 1989. Their 1984 touring captured them in a transitional period, building a national audience through clubs, theaters, festivals, and constant road work.
In 1984 they released Neville-ization, a live album recorded at Tipitina's in New Orleans, and much of their touring reflected the repertoire heard on that record.
Thanks to the anonymous collector and his close friend who provided the recordings (think the recent Elvis Costello SB's), we'll have many more from his archives.
Additional thanks to Goody, our pitch master, for once again working his magic.
