This was a very nice surprise that came to me courtesy of Roy. It's an uncirculated board of Oregon near to the time of their Northwest Passage album. It dates to the very early days of Mark Walker's membership in the band. It worth noting that they'd gone several years without a permanent percussionist after Trilok Gurtu's departure in the early 90's. There were a few gigs with Jamey Haddad, but a lot of Oregon shows through the mid 90's were played as a percussion-less trio. Walker remained with them for 20 years up to the point when the group stopped playing in 2018.
Six of the tracks here are on Northwest Passage, and Green and Golden wouldn't be on an album until Live at Yoshi's from 2002. To my ear, the band sounds fresh and excited at doing so much new material. It's a fine recording but a few fixes were needed. All were done in Audacity. First of all, the show was sent over as 2 separate WAV tracks, so tracking was done to get it into the form in which you'll now get it. Short digi-gaps were present in many spots near to the start of songs, so this may once have been on discs that were burned TAO. Those gaps were repaired, and there was also a more substantial gap within Pepe Linque that was repaired too, but a bit of music was lost in that spot.
Big thanks to Roy for sending this my way, and to the person who'd recorded the show and gotten it to him. Thanks too to Lauramareike (Dieter) for the freshly created artwork that you'll get with this share.
