Notes:
Pat Metheny explains the context of these shows to the audience on the
recording. They had been touring across America since October 1979. At this
point, they were scheduled to play a number of shows in Japan and after that
they had plans to tour Europe for most of the summer. The PMG was primarily
based in Boston and so they thought it would be a good idea to play one
final show there before they left for many months. Due to significant demand
from Boston, they decided to play two shows. Pat explains to the audience
that many of the songs are new and untitled, but with the benefit of
hindsight, we know all the song titles now.

This late* recording was first torrented by Nightdreamer on January 27, 2005.
He (mis)identified it as from the Orpheum Theatre with an inexact date in
April. Marc Morvan's website has the date as April 4 and the location as the
Berklee Performance Center and I assume he's right.

Oddly, most of the version that Nightdreamer shared is from the late show,
except for the last 2 tracks (San Lorenzo and American Garage) that are
actually spliced in from the early show. I discovered that when I lined up
the last part of Nightdreamer's share with the early show. Hence, I have not
included those tracks here.

-minor cleanup of digital glitches throughout the recording using Audacity
-speed corrected (MATLAB) because tracks 1-5 were 1.1% fast, and tracks 6-8
were 1.25% fast
-phase corrected the channel alignment of tracks 6-8 by 1 sample
-the last 10 sec of track 5 and first 10 sec of track 6 had disc fades. An
unknown small of amount of audio between the tracks is missing from the
recording. I used an algorithm that I wrote in MATLAB to calculate the power
decrease over the fades, and then to amplify the audio by the appropriate
amount to undo the fading. This required amplifying a small amount of audio
at the quietest parts of the fades by factors of around 100, and for 16-bit
audio this reveals the quantization noise. That, plus the fact that the
recording isn't continuous between tracks 5-6 means that it is slightly
noticeable, but I prefer it to the original fades.
