This was recorded by Jacin Mueller and transferred from the master DAT by Richard Russell, November 2025.

This DAT was problematic to transfer. Two DAT decks were used, and the results from each were spliced together at various points to get a complete recording.

This DAT was mislableled as 1998 House of Blues due to a comment made by the emcee at the beginning of the DAT (i.e., the band's last performance in New Orleans was in 1998 at House of Blues). This recording however is from the Rock 'n' Bowl in 2004.

This evening's performance was billed as "Mystic Knights of the Mau Mau present Tryin' to Mess My Mind featuring ? and the Mysterians, Sky Saxon & the Seeds, Dr. Spec's Optical Illusion, The Bad Roads and the Souls of the Slain." (The band Dr. Spec's Optical Illusion performed after Question Mark & the Mysterians.)
