Renaissance: The Lostbrook Tape Series - Volume 103
Be forewarned: there's a lot of background conversation on this tape.
It's priceless to me but you may feel differently. In my defense,
this was my fifth Renaissance concert and John's sixth (he also had
second row seats for the next night.) We sat in the orchestra
approximately 40 rows from the stage - the furthest distance we
had ever seen Renaissance from - and felt more like casual observers.
We also had our girlfriends with us to add to the chatter. Ordinarily,
the music would have drowned out much of the talk, but you'll hear
us remark more than once that the volume was low in the hall. In the
end, I think our love for the music will be apparent and you will enjoy
this great performance by Renaissance.
