It is rather ironic that I might have gotten the best vocal of the tour so far, from the very most unlikely spot.


I have gotten more than few questions asking how I have been able to make some of these onstage recordings. One of he main reasons that I am able to do something
like this is because I only put at risk extremely old gear which I am willing to accept the very real chance of losing. Two of the recorders that I use have
been working for over fifteen years now, on the original batteries. At some point I realized that they should have stopped working long ago, and bought a new one,
as failure just seemed inevitable. Because the original recorders still worked, having a third freed up the older units for more risky ideas. Since then, I have
not only hidden recorders onstage, but in various other places in venues as well. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but very often taking the risk has
paid off big time. Being able to go to the bathroom or get a drink while rolling tape can also be rather nice as well.
