Siouxsie & the Banshees
Recorded at My Father's Place,Long Island,N.Y
on the 22nd November 1980

Taken from the "kaleidoscope" tour of North America.

Equipment/Lineage unknown
Received in a trade with collector of S&TB

The discs had errors in track seperation and there were a number
of flaws in the recording, these has been removed/corrected to the best
of my ability and i believe enhance the recording.
The recording is also complete but there are a few seconds
missing at the beginning of Voodoo Dolly where the tape
appears to have been flipped, this seems likely as it appears
around the 42 minute mark.

The quality of the recording is very good for it's time and
all instruments are clear and well balanced, it obviously comes
from a tape trade and in that respect lineage is obviously
difficult to determine.I have seen it rated as B+/A-, thats a
fair representation, it shouldn't disappoint.

On a more personal note, this tour represents the Banshess at their
creative best and on the verge of breaking into the big league, sadly
America proved far more difficult in this respect. At home in England
the Banshees came home and a month after this gig they played at the
Hammersmith Palais where they took the place by storm, a year later
saw the release of Ju-Ju and the rest as they say is history....
