Today we’ve got a really big surprise. After over 40 years we finally get an audience recording from the US Festival.
Personally, I’ve never seen any audience recordings from this festival. As you all know, this was professionally filmed.
Being able to hear the audience source really gives us a new perspective.
As we all know, Stevie Nicks was battling with her cocaine addiction, and her performances suffered from that.
I also believe she was dating Tom Petty at the time.

I’m going to be bringing a lot of new never before heard audience masters to Traders Den.
The live recordings I have access to have really good sound quality and should be very exciting for everybody here.
I’m gonna try to get these edited on a daily basis so I can share them here.

The person who recorded these concerts is no longer with us, and unfortunately, many of his tapes were not labeled with great detail.
Some of the tapes only have the artists initials on them with no date or venue. So many of these required detective work to decipher exactly what shows these come from. And that’s part of what makes this even more interesting.
