Well guys, I ran The Band before the Dead July 4th 84. But that one is next in queue. The Band is another recording that I scrapped after three listens. Maybe all the shows one right after the other had something to do about that. It came out clean....again. Thank GOODNESS! Well, the Mill Run Playhouse was a stage that was in the round. Very slowly it would rotate. I remember the drum kit sounding louder when it came around! :) The capacity was 1600 seats and I would have never thought it was that large. 4 months later it was torn down. I remember seeing Cheech & Chong there and pissing in my pants laughing so hard. I recorded that as well. America, Jean Luc Ponty, Pablo Cruise and maybe a few more. This one is not too shabby and again...very happy its archived. I also had trouble but finally did it right. Any "The Band" fanatics out there? Caledonia Mission, the lyrics did not match ANYTHING from the lyrics I found online. But he says Caledonia a handful of times. I am completely lost on that. Please chime in on this dilemma. Setlist.fm did not have this on there site until right now. I think that's at least 3 times I had to add a show on there. Has anyone ever seen a cassette copy of this show? This is the debut of this archive. It's a good listen if you follow them. This will crank up nice on your best stereo system. Enjoy you live music heads!! RB
