The show sold out in a matter of just a few days, so I knew that the Paradiso was going to be full, and it sure was, never seen that room so packed.
I still have to find the weak spot in my mic set-up that in the last couple of weeks has been causing the left channel to sometimes disappear completely,
but as everything went fine in Nijmegen the day before, I geared up as usual. Found me a less than great spot on the far right side with almost okay sound,
alas tightly surrounded by an enthusiastic and loud crowd. And even though the meters looked fine when checking, there was nothing but static on the
left channel ... before it died altogether. So I doubled the right channel into Mono - and I actually doubt that from this recording position a true Stereo
master would have sounded that much better. Some photos included to give you an idea of the night.
