Night 1 of the return to the beautiful and fabulous OLT after last year's two outstanding "An Evening with Wilco" shows.
After the near fiasco in Amsterdam the previous week, I didn't want to risk anything and decided to record with the trusty Edirol internals
from the same great spot I taped last year's second night. And as the sound was really good, this turned out to be a really fine recording.
Not only was this a rare Jeff Tweedy Birthday Show, when the encore was just about to come to the rousing finale, there was a medical incident in the GA section.
For more about that see Paul's report. I decided not to circulate that awkward 5 minute+ section of the recording, for obvious reasons.
There is no music missing, Jeff stops the band and the song and they jam their way back into it after the situation is cleared.
So there is no track 21 in this file set. I hope that's okay with you. As always, some photos included.
