notes:
-night 2 of the 3 night Arizona weekend run, Saturday night in (freezing) Flagstaff, had a very different feel than the night before in Tucson due to
setting and the crowd. Yucca North is truly a bar for half it's square feet and a performance space only is the back half. The crowd was a drunken party
Saturday night feel - very loud/rowdy/fired upcompared to Tucson the night before. The crowd seemed to be more familiar with the band and songs in
general too, though there were definitely newbies there too. Younger crowd than Tucson too in general.
-security here had no issue at all with me recording.Once again, I was the only one. This time I had to be off to right side near wall and a bit further
back just to protect equipment from drunken people and their spilling drinks. The sound is still great, but there's much more audience noise, both yelling
and chatter on this one. Once again, mics on baffle/stand 6.5' high, 25' approx from stage on right side of room.
-big difference in this show too: the old 2 set format! The 2nd set alone was almost as long as night before in Tucson. This show had lots of classics
and really jammed out in 2nd set. I personally loved seeing "Holdin'", "Annalee", & "Granny" - 3 rarer ones it seems these days, all classics imo. The
last 3 songs including encore are just great! And a Velvet Underground and Willie Nelson covers!! A couple good new Nick tunes too!!
-got some fun photos from I-phone the in file set.
-another Sonoran Desert Recording recorded, mastered and seeded by Matt23. For personal use only - no selling. Share freely. Do not convert into MP3 and
share - MP3 for personal use only. Keep the gene pool clean!
-support Yonder! Go see them! Fun guaranteed!
