*** THE STORY BEHIND THE GREAT FLOP ***
The "Confluences festival" is a major yearly event organized in Montereau Fault
Yonne (85 km south-east of Paris) by a local community.Unfortunately in 2003, it
was a terrible flop and a financial disaster ; the ZZ Top night draw 2000
people instead of the 12000 who were expected !
This situation might have been caused by a long lasting strike of people working
in the show business ; many shows were cancelled in summer 2003 ; perhaps some
people believed this festival was to be cancelled as well and stayed home
watching TV ?

Nevertheless, it was good news to me, because I could easily stand at the first
row and it was just like having the band play in my living room,I was so close !
You will get plenty of bass, and it sounds as if the drum kit was on your knees
! You should be impressed.
